FAQ’s

1) How much does the Tour cost?
A: The West Island Tour which is 4 hours cost US$199 per car,  the East Island Tour which is 5 hours long cost US$229 per car, the  All Island Tour which is up to 9 hours is US$299 per car. Each car holds two people, so bring a friend along to enjoy the fun!

2) What tour times do you offer?
A: Right now, departures for the West Tour are 8:00am and 1:30pm and the East Tour 8:00am and 12:30pm, the All Island Tour & the Scoot Car Only can depart any time after 8:00am but must return by 5:00pm.

3) Where do tours depart from and return?
A: Tours depart from and return to our location at #144 North Church Street, George Town, Grand Cayman

4) What’s the minimum age to drive a Scoot vehicle?
A: Drivers must be at least 23 years old to drive the Scoot and must have a valid Driver’s license

5) What is the minimum age to ride as a passenger in the Scoot vehicle?
A: The minimum age to ride as a passenger in the Scoot is 8 years old.

6) What should I wear/carry?
A: Only a small bag can hold in the trunk. Bring sunscreen, bottled water and a towel if you plan to stop at the beaches on your tour.

7) Are tours refundable?
A: Tickets are only refunded if cancelled before 72 hours prior to the tour time. All bookings cancelled within 72 hours of the tour will NOT be refunded.

8) Can I walk up and book a tour?
A: Due to limited availability, we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

9) Are discounts available?
A: Yes, booking 3 or more cars entitles you to 10% off the listed price. Locals are also entitled to 10% off but will need to call or email prior to booking for a discount code.

10) Is gasoline included?
A: No, please return the car with a full tank of gas to avoid paying the empty tank fee of US$15.

11) Is Insurance coverage provided?
A: Yes, mandatory Collision Damage Waiver insurance is provided for an additional cost of US$40 per vehicle.

12) Are attraction costs included?
A: No, attraction costs are not included.  For certain attractions such as the Crystal Caves, you should call ahead a book your tour in advance. Please note, some attractions are closed on Sundays so check ahead.

13) My ship arrives outside of the set Scoot tour times of 8am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm, can I get a customized departure time?
A: If we have availability we will offer a customized departure. We will hold your scooter until your requested pick up time. Your 4 or 5 hour tour will begin at your requested time.

14) Is there a weight limit for the scooters?
A: Yes. The weight limit is 400lbs per scooter. If two guests are riding they would have to have a combined weight of 400lbs.
